We are excited to announce Casey Smith as our associate director of child care at Empower Academy. She is a dedicated educator with over a decade of experience in early childhood education. She is from Sullivan originally and resides here with her husband and two children. She has spent 10 years teaching preschool and previously operated an in-home daycare for 8 years. Casey holds a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Eastern Illinois University and an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Lakeland College. She is very excited for this new professional chapter. In her personal time, she enjoys savoring a good cup of coffee, reading, and actively supporting her children in their sporting endeavors. She is committed to fostering a lifelong love of learning, one playful moment at a time.
