Meet the Teacher - Miss April

Miss April is so excited to be part of our preschool community! She lives in Mattoon with her husband and their two children, along with their one dog and three lizards who keep life fun and busy at home. She loves being outdoors, shopping, building LEGO creations, and making memories as a mom. Miss April has been teaching preschool since 2020 and truly loves helping little learners grow, explore, and gain confidence. She is currently attending National Louis University, where she is studying Early Childhood Education with a minor in Special Education. Miss April brings joy, energy, and a big heart into the classroom every day, creating a warm and encouraging space where every child feels valued and supported.
